Summer Ballet Intensive

June 10 – July 27 6 week ballet intensive for ballet levels 6 – 8 (ages 11+)

This new “full” intensive will consist of evening classes Monday through Thursday for a schedule of 6 weeks (not including 4th of July week). Each day will consist of an hour and a half ballet class plus an additional subject or two (including Jazz/Musical Theater, Contemporary, Pre-Pointe/Pointe, Conditioning & Variations). A short performance, in which the students demonstrate any choreography they have learned, will be held at the culmination of the session.

Note for current Passion Academy dancers: this intensive set of classes will take the place of our usual Summer Session offering of classes for these levels. 

Requirements:

Ages 11+

Current Passion Academy students: students that have completed Ballet levels VI, VII, & VIII or who were a part of the Passion Academy Performance Ensemble during the 2024 season are eligible 

New dancers to Passion Academy: must be evaluated by the Program Director to attend this intensive. Please contact the Program Director, Sarah Ruppel Bullis, at dance@passionacademy.net for an assessment.

What is the tuition?

• Tuition for all 6 weeks of the intensive is $930.00.
• Tuition for each maintenance week is $71.25/week for Ballet VI and $87.50/week for Ballet VII and IX
• There will be a $200 deposit required at commitment of registration contract.
• The remainder of the tuition will be billed on our usually monthly cycle during Summer Session.

• If you filled it out previously then there is no need to fill it out again, but please email me regarding your student’s commitment based on the schedule noted below.

What if we will be away some of the weeks?

Please email sarah@passionacademy.net any conflicts ahead of time and we will adjust their schedule and tuition accordingly.

Dress code: 

All female students should wear light pink convertible tights under a solid camisole style black

leotard with pink ballet shoes.

All male students under 12 should wear black-knitted shorts or leggings, a white fitted t-shirt,

white socks, and black ballet shoes (leather or canvas). All male students ages 12+ should

wear black tights, a dance belt undergarment, a white-fitted t-shirt, white socks, and black

ballet shoes (leather or canvas). 

Ballet shoes must have elastic sewn across the in-step.
