* This camp is director placement only to participate and an audition video must be submitted to enroll. Please submit an unedited audition video to katie@passionacademy.net
A camp registration link will be sent upon acceptance to the camp.
Teens should prepare and sing 1 minute of a song ( with no other backing vocals) from a musical of their choice for their video audition. We will hold callbacks for various solos on the first day of camp and will be sending an e-mail that provides more details so that students are prepared.
Camp Description:
Step into the spotlight with our Broadway Intensive Music Theatre Camp, an exciting, high- energy experience designed for aspiring performers who want to dive deep into the world of musical theater! Whether you’re an experienced performer or a beginner, this immersive camp will help you develop essential skills in singing, acting, and dancing, all while learning from professionals.
Throughout the camp, participants will prepare for a performance on the final day of camp which includes songs from the following Broadway shows: Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and Beetlejuice! Over the course of the camp, participants will engage in exercises focusing on vocal technique, dance choreography, and acting through song! Students will have the opportunity to refine their skills, expand their repertoire, and receive personalized feedback, culminating in a final performance that showcases their growth and confidence. Join us for an unforgettable journey that will leave you inspired!
Please note: A dance background is strongly recommended to participate in this camp, as many of the performances will involve choreography.
What to Wear:
Ladies should wear a leotard, tank top, or t -shirt that is not too loose fitted Monday-Thursday. Leggings or dance skirt should be worn, along with tan Character shoes. Please bring regular jazz shoes or tennis shoes as well to rehearse in.
Hair should be pulled off the face in a bun, braid, or ponytail. No jewelry other than stud earrings should be worn. Please wear a black leotard and tan tights on the final day of camp. We will provide the rest!
Gentleman should wear clothes that are comfortable to dance in Monday-Thursday and black jazz shoes. Please wear black pants and a plain white t-shirt on the final day of camp and we will provide the rest.
*We are offering a tap option for students in this camp again this summer! It is not required to tap, but please bring tap shoes as well if you’d like to participate in tap dance.

Jump in and dance under the sea with us as we adventure with Ariel, Eric, and friends, exploring the magic of sea and land life. This performance camp is geared toward younger students and will be filled with a variety of dance, story time, and craft activities to accommodate the attention span and physical strength of a young dancer. Each day will begin with a 45 minute basic, age-appropriate ballet technique class, which will focus on improving flexibility, posture, balance, coordination, foot and arm positions, basic center/across the floor steps, and musicality. No previous ballet experience is necessary. The remainder of the camp day will include activities pertaining to putting together an original Passion Academy ballet production of The Little Mermaid. Students will study the characters and learn how to portray them through movement. They will learn choreography as well as participate in craft activities that involve making costume accessories, props, and scenery to be used in the final performance. Students in this camp will have a chance to be both the performers and the production team! Parents will be invited to view the performance in the studio at 1:15PM on the final camp day. Story time, several snack breaks, and a lunch time will be included in the daily camp schedule.

What to Wear:
Ladies should wear a camisole plain leotard (no skirt attached) with light pink ballet tights. The leotard and tights will be worn under the dancer’s costume for the final performance. Footwear is pink ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled off the face in a ballet bun or ponytail. No jewelry with the exception of stud earrings should be worn.
Gentleman should wear plain black knit shorts or leggings and a plain white t-shirt. Footwear is black ballet shoes with white socks.
Performance costumes will be provided by Passion Academy.

Get ready to unleash your inner rockstar at our Totally 80s Voice Performance Camp! This high- energy, retro-inspired camp is designed for both female and male singers who want to master the art of vocal performance while jamming to the iconic hits of the 1980s. From power ballads to new wave anthems, participants will explore and perform songs from the best of the 80s—such as Journey, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, and more!
Throughout this immersive camp, campers will receive expert vocal training to build technique, range, and stage presence, all while learning to belt out your favorite 80s hits. We will work on breath control, harmonies, and performance skills, as well as dive into the unique vocal styles that defined the era. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just starting out, this camp will give campers the tools to take your singing to the next level.
Each day, campers will take part in group rehearsals, coaching sessions, and fun performance challenges, all leading to an epic final performance where they will perform their favorite 80s songs on the last day of camp! This camp is all about singing and moving with confidence and having a blast!

What to Wear:
