Our mentors will guide each of these bands through an interactive journey to understand both the technical and creative aspects of playing together as a band. They study bands and artists who have made their mark on the culture of music and learn more about their writing approach, style and execution.
WHY?
Playing in a band is an essential step for any musician. Music is a universal language, and playing in a band offers a unique way of communicating that language. It challenges musicians to practice harder and become more dedicated to their craft. As a musician grows, the band grows with them. Bands have the potential to profoundly impact the world around them, and here at Passion we strive for our bands to change the world in the same way. Our mission for the Band Development Program is to influence not only the world but the many generations that follow. Our Band Development students have the opportunity to not only observe the process, but learn through hands-on experiences the ins and outs of working in a studio, playing live, collaborating on music, and, most importantly, communicating with other musicians through music.
Beginners/Experienced
Performance Band
Students are invited to join one of our Performance Bands for a unique learning experience. They will be taught songs from various genres and given an opportunity to engage with other musicians in real-time. This program is geared to work towards a show at the end of the 3 months.
