She never thought it would be a possibility to write original songs, to perform them and produce them on a EP! She now forever has a copy of that accomplishment as well! ““Zoë has been involved in the Artist Development program for 3 years and it has really enabled her to realize her dreams as a musician and performer. Being an artist development student moved our daughter beyond just voice lessons, as she has also improved her skills on the guitar, ukulele and other similar instruments. The program has helped her to become a better writer, both lyrically and musically, and she has had the privilege of recording and releasing original music through Passion Academy. Further, the program has led to several opportunities to perform locally and she even performed one of her original songs on a local morning television show! As a dad who only played sports growing up, and wanted the same for my daughter, Passion Academy (Daniel) helped me realize this is my daughter’s “sport” and ever since then I’ve been so supportive of her love of music, instruments, and performing. The way I see things now is her weekly lesson is “practice” and when she performs, it’s her “game day.” Zoë’s involvement in the artist development program has given her so much confidence as a performer. Not only have we seen tremendous growth and development of our daughter’s voice since the time she’s been at Passion Academy, but many of the people at our church who’ve heard her sing through the years tell us, “she gets better every time.” Passion Academy has helped Zoë to identify exactly what she wants to do with herself. “We are so grateful the the experience that Passion Academy's Artist Development was able to provide for our daughter. While working with her mentors she was able to bring the songs she had written to life. She learned about recording, mixing, and creating digital tracks in a very hands-on way ultimately releasing her songs to Spotify, iTunes as well as other on-line streaming services.
