Passion Academy Strings Camp provides an opportunity to invest in a week of making music with others that share your passion for orchestral and ensemble music.

Each student will have the opportunity to perform major repertoire from standard string orchestral literature while focusing on technique, basic string repertoire, musicianship, presentation skills, and other skills needed for excellent orchestral and ensemble playing.

Two distinct camp experiences are available for elementary, middle and high school age players who want to further their understanding of quartet and ensemble playing. Each student will gain experience playing timeless and beautiful pieces by some of the best composers. (Exact pieces depend on the ability of the performers involved)

With the direction of Jonathan Lingerfelt and the help our other highly skilled strings mentors, you will grow as a musician and artist, and experience the joy of performing with fellow young musicians.

The Primary Session is ideal for elementary string students desiring to enhance their knowledge and experience as a strings player. Students will receive an introduction to playing in an ensemble and learn about the various ensemble roles. They will have the opportunity to rehearse with others while learning from world-class mentors.
