The objective of the Passion Arts Foundation is to provide deserving students in need with an excellent education in the Arts. The foundation also provides musical instruments and equipment, dance supplies and educational materials required for instruction. A limited number of scholarships are available to students who have the desire to be involved in the Arts but would otherwise not have the opportunity. Every donation makes a difference in a student’s life and positively impacts the many programs and experiences that make an education from Passion Academy so enriching and unique.
Passion Arts Foundation is dedicated to encouraging and enabling the creation, performance and study of the Arts through awards, scholarships, grants, and commissions.
Throughout the year, the Foundation works to administer various scholarship competitions, awards, fellowships, and commissions. The final selections for these programs are entrusted to panels composed of some of the world’s most distinguished artists, all of whom volunteer their time and knowledge. The Foundation also awards grants on an annual basis to music and arts organizations around the country. We review and make recommendations for these awards, which range from the support of classical music groups specializing in contemporary works, to modern rock band style instruction, to musical theatre programs for inner-city youth, and programs designed to further the study of various dance styles which include ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and more.
Our board is composed of various music publishing and entertainment executives, musicians and dance professionals, and our staff serves without compensation to provide creative and educational opportunities to emerging talent, established artists, and other organizations that share our commitment to the Arts. Each board member works in collaboration with our staff to award general grants to music and arts organizations throughout the country.
Our Current Mission
One of our missions is to help keep music alive in our schools by donating musical instruments and support to under-funded music programs nationwide, giving economically-disadvantaged youth access to the many benefits of music education, helping them to be successful students, and inspiring creativity and expression through playing music.
With your generous support, we can ensure that students from low-income circumstances, whose parents can’t afford to rent or buy an instrument for their children, are given an opportunity to play music in school. By giving schools the instruments they need, all children will have access to music education and the joy of learning to play an instrument.
