Dance Mentor

Brianna Little began her studies in Greensboro, North Carolina.  She continued exploring her passion throughout her formative years. Intensives included North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, and Alvin Ailey Dance Theater in New York City. It was during these experiences that Brianna discovered her love for modern dance.

Weaver Academy for Performing and Visual Arts, gave Brianna the opportunity to study under Emily Brenner. This is where she developed her interest in movement studies.  Brianna received a BFA in Dance Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During college she began exploring the idea of choreographic intent having set several difference dance pieces on her colleges. She has had the honor of performing works by wonderful professors/directors who provided her with valuable instruction and opportunities.  Some of which included, Janet Lily, Duane Cyrus, B.J Sullivan, Robin Gee and Nathan Trice. In 2016 Brianna graduated cum laude and began her professional and education career. Brianna is a member of Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity, Alpha Chapter and is excited to have the opportunity to work with the RVA Dance Collective 2016-2017 season. Brianna is also excited to continue her journey at Passion Academy.
